Use the Map Field window to map a spreadsheet column to the appropriate field in Fixed Assets CS.
To open this window, select
Map Field
for any column in the Data to import grid in the Import Field Map window.note

Fields & buttons
Column navigation
The read-only field at the top of the Map Field window includes the letter of the current column. Use the single arrow buttons to either side of this field to move to the previous or next column. Use the double-arrow buttons to move to the first or last column.
Available group box
Category
Select an important category from the dropdown to view the list of available fields for the category. (Categories include: General, Association, Tax, Book, State, AMT, Other, ACE, and Other Tort1 - Other Trt4.)
Fields available to import
Lists all of the available fields to import for the selected category. Double-click the field to move it to the Selected pane for the current column.
Selected group box
Category
This read-only field displays the import category of the field in the Selected pane.
Field
Displays the name of the field that is selected to map to the current spreadsheet column. You can modify the entry in this field only when
Association
is selected in the Category
dropdown and you move one of the custom association fields (Custom 1 - Custom 10) to the Selected pane.Format
Displays the format of the field's data. For example, numeric, alphanumeric, or text.
