Use the Investment Credit tab to enter investment credit information.
To open this tab, select
Credit Information
 in an asset's Other tab. This tab is available only if the R, C or O credit code is entered in the
Credit
 field on the asset's Depreciation tab.

Fields & buttons

NPS project number
For a certified historic structure asset, enter the NPS project number.
Date approved
For a certified historic structure asset, enter the date the NPS approved the request.
Measuring period beginning date
For a rehabilitation credit asset, enter the date the 24- or 60-month measuring period begins.
Measuring period ending date
For a rehabilitation credit asset, enter the date the 24- or 60-month measuring period ends.
Beginning adjusted basis of building
For a rehabilitation credit asset, enter the adjusted basis of the building as of the beginning date.
Qualified expenditures incurred
For a rehabilitation credit asset, enter the amount of qualified expenditures incurred during the period.
Transition property TRA section number
For a transition property asset, enter the TRA section number.
note
This field displays only for assets that were placed in service prior to the 2007 tax year.
