Use this window to record any of the following:
- Sale of multiple assets for one sale price.
- Like-kind exchange of multiple assets for one asset.
- Disposal of multiple assets by the Out of Service or Retired method.
note
You cannot dispose of Section 1245 assets by using like-kind exchange after 12/31/17.
To open this window, open the Asset List window and do one of the following:
- SelectTasks, thenMass Disposition.
- SelectMass Dispositionin the Asset List window.

Restrictions for selecting assets for a mass disposition
Entering a mass asset disposition

Displays a description and other information for existing mass dispositions.
Description
Displays the name of the selected mass disposition.
note
To edit the name of an existing mass disposition, select an item in the list, select Edit, edit the name in this box, then select Enter.
Select Assets button
Select this to open the Select Assets window in which you can modify the selection of specific assets that belong to the current mass disposition.
note
This is available only after you select a mass disposition and select Edit . After making your selections in the Select Assets window and selecting OK, select Enter in the Mass Disposition window to save your changes.
Enter Disposal Information button
Select this to open the Disposal tab, in the Enter Disposal Information window, in which you can enter the type of disposal, date of disposal, and other information.

This is available only after you seletct a mass disposition and select Edit . After entering the information in the Disposal tab and selecting OK, select Enter in the Mass Disposition windowto save your changes.
