Client Summary Information > Graph Summary tab

Use this tab to view a summary graph of the open client's assets. You can customize the graph to suit your needs.
To open this tab, open the Asset List window, select Tasks, then Display Summary Information, and then select the Graph Summary tab.

Fields & Buttons

Activity
Choose whether you want to base the graph on the current activity or all activities.
  • [Current Activity] -
     Select this to display summary information only for the open client's current activity.
    note
    The name of this option varies depending on which activity folder is selected in the Asset List window.
  • All Activities -
     Select this option to display summary information for all of the open client's activities.
Treatment
Select the treatment for which you want to view summary information.
note
To change the treatments that appear here, go to Setup, then Treatments.
Asset information
Choose one of the following options to analyze the client's data for either the current activity or all activities and for the treatment selected.
  • Number of assets -
     Select this to view a graph of the client's asset information based on the number of assets.
  • Cost/basis -
     Select this to view a graph of the client's asset information based on the cost/basis of their assets.
  • Current depreciation -
     Select this option to view a graph of the client's asset information based on the current depreciation of the client's assets.

If you choose to analyze the client's assets by
Number of assets
 or
Cost/basis
, disposed assets won’t be included in the graph summary.
Based on
Choose the association you want the analysis to be based on. Associations include group, location, property type, division, activity, or custom associations that include a list.
note
Activity is available from this dropdown list only if you selected the
All Activities
 option at the top of the Graph Summary tab.
Summary graph key
Shows a list of activities or associations based on the selection you made in the
Based on
 field.
Summary graph
Based on the choices you make here, the graph shows summary information for the following items.
  • The [Current Activity] or all activities
  • The treatment selected in the
    Treatment
     field
  • The number of assets, cost/basis, or current depreciation
The colored sections of the graph represent activities or the type of association you selected in the
Based on
 field.

  • Hover over a section of the pie graph to display the number of assets, cost/basis, or current depreciation for that association.
  • Double-click a piece of the pie graph to open an Asset Detail report that relates to the activity or association in the print preview window.
Preview Asset Detail
Select this to preview the Asset Detail report for the treatment selected from the
Treatment
 field. The report is sorted and sequenced by activities or the association selected from the
Based on
 field.
Print Graph
Select this to open the Print Graph window.
