Import account groupings
Follow these steps to import your firm's account groupings or account groupings from another engagement.
- From the AdvanceFlow main toolbar, select
Setup, thenAccount Groupings. - Select
Importon the Account Groupings section. - SelectEngagementorSpreadsheetas the source, thenNext.
- If you selectedEngagement:
- Select client and engagement, choose a client, then selectNext.
- Select an engagement, then selectNexttwice.
- Select the account grouping you want to import from the Original account grouping name dropdown.
- Enter a name for the new account grouping in the Account Grouping destination name field, then selectDone.
- If you selectedSpreadsheet:
- Drag and drop the file orBrowsefor the file you want to import, thenNext.
- Select the worksheet that the grouping to be imported is on in the spreadsheet.
- Select the Type asNeworExisting.
- If New create a name for the grouping, if Existing select the name of the existing grouping from the dropdown menu, thenNext.
- Map the columns to be imported to the Column Type, thenDone.
