Map account groupings and tax codes for your firm
If you have administrative permissions, you can map account groupings, tax codes, and account types for your firm. The mapping is applied to accounts if the Account Classification account grouping is imported from a spreadsheet or assigned manually in the Trial Balance screen.
- Select
Setupfrom the main AdvanceFlow toolbar, then selectMapping. - Select a tab:
- Account Groupings
- Tax Codes
- Account type
- Double-click a cell in one of the following columns and select an option to add or edit:
- Code
- Code description
- Subcode
- Subcode description
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 to map any remaining items.You have several options to customize the Mapping screen display:
- Select
to show or hide columns. - Select
to show or hide the Group Panel. You can select and drag column headings to the Group Panel to customize the display. - Select
to filter a column display.
