Error: pdf32.dll/NET Framework Unhandled exception

Scenario

You may see the following error message when if the GoFileRoom print driver fails to install during installation of the GoFileRoom Client Add-In and your computer is running a Windows (64-Bit) operating system.
Error message
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
The process cannot access the file 'C:\Windows\system32\Pdf32.dll' because it is being used by another process.

Solution

Follow these steps to resolve this error.
  1. Select
    Continue
     then close the Microsoft.NET Framework window.
  2. Select
    Windows Start
    , open
    Windows Administrative Tools
    , then
    Services
    .
  3. Double-click
    Print Spooler
    .
  4. Select 
    Stop
    , then
    OK
    .
  5. Go to
    C:\windows\system32\
    .
  6. Rename
    pdf32.dll
     to
    PDF32.old
    .
  7. Go to
    C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\GoFileRoom\PrintToGoFileRoom\PrintDriver
    .
  8. Right-click on
    GoFileRoomPrinterx64_Uninstall.bat
     and select
    Run as administrator
    .
  9. Open
    Services
    .
  10. Double-click
    Print Spooler
    , select
    Start
    , then
    OK
    .
  11. Right-click on
    GoFileRoomPrinterx64_Uninstall.bat
     and select
    Run as administrator
    .
Go to
Devices
, then
Printers
 to make sure that the GoFileRoom print driver has been installed (the GoFileRoom printer icon should be displayed).
