Error: GoFileRoom toolbar doesn't display in Adobe Acrobat
Scenario
After installing GoFileRoom Add-Ins, the GoFileRoom toolbar doesn't display in Adobe Acrobat.
Solutions
Solution 1
- Double-click theGFRAcrobatInstaller.exelocated in:
- 32-bit Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFileRoom\GFRAcrobat\Distribution
- 64-bit Windows: C:\Program Files\GoFileRoom\GFRAcrobat\Distribution

- Copy allGFRAPI files and the Annotations folder located in:
- 32-bitAPI: C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFileRoom\GFRAcrobat\Distribution\plug_ins
- 64-bitAPI: C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFileRoom\GFRAcrobat\Distribution\plug_ins\x64
- Paste the API files and Annotations folder into your Acrobat plug-ins directory:
- 32-bitAdobe: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat xx.x\Acrobat\plug_ins
- 64-bitAdobe: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat xx.x\Acrobat\plug_ins
- SelectYesto overwrite all, if prompted.

- Open Adobe Acrobat.
- SelectEdit, thenPreferences.
- SelectGeneralin the Categories list.
- In the Application Startup section, make sure that theUse only certified plug-inscheckbox is cleared and the current setting forCurrently in Certified ModeisNo.
- If clearing theUse only certified plug-inscheckbox and restarting Acrobat doesn't fix the problem, contact GoFileRoom Support.

Refresh the toolbars by opening Adobe Acrobat and pressing Alt+F8 on your keyboard.
