Google Chrome v146 compatibility issue with GoFileRoom

Google Chrome v146, rolling out on March 10, 2026, removes support for XSLT and causes certain GoFileRoom screens to appear blank. Take immediate action to prevent Chrome from updating automatically until GoFileRoom is updated.
Thomson Reuters has identified a compatibility issue between Google Chrome v146 and GoFileRoom. Starting March 10, 2026, Chrome v146 deprecates and disables XSLT (a legacy browser technology) by default.
This change causes several GoFileRoom screens to appear blank. Because Chrome updates automatically in many environments, you must act immediately to prevent this update from being applied to your users' browsers.
For technical details about this Chrome change, refer to developer.chrome.com .

Action required: Turn off automatic Chrome updates

As a Microsoft Windows administrator, use Google Update to control how Chrome and Chrome apps update across your organization. Turn off automatic updates and prevent users from manually updating Chrome until GoFileRoom has been updated to support Chrome v146.
For instructions on managing Chrome updates in your organization, refer to Google Chrome Enterprise Help: Manage Chrome updates (Windows) .
For instructions on managing Microsoft Edge updates in your organization, refer to Microsoft Edge update settings.

Alternative: Restore XSLT behavior if Chrome has already updated

If Chrome v146 has already been installed on a device and GoFileRoom screens appear blank, temporarily restore XSLT behavior using a Chrome flag:
  1. In Chrome, open
    chrome://flags/
    in the address bar.
  2. In the search field, search for
    XSLT
    .
  3. Select
    Enabled
    from the XSLT dropdown.
  4. Select
    Relaunch
to restart Chrome and apply the change.

This flag-based alternative is a temporary measure only. Apply the permanent fix by disabling automatic Chrome updates as described earlier, and watch for a GoFileRoom update that restores full compatibility.
