Cannot access Information field in FirmFlow; the field is not enabled

Scenario

You may see a field label for a custom information field, but there is no data-entry field to enter the data.

Cause

You do not have permissions to enter data in that field.

Solution

Ask a GoFileRoom administrator to take the following steps to assign you to a group that has permissions to enter data in that field.
  1. In GoFileRoom, choose
    Administration
    , then
    Manage FirmFlow
     and select the
    Permissions
     tab.
  2. Select Information Fields from the Category field.
  3. The grid includes a column for each custom information field that was set up on the Information Fields tab. Verify that the checkbox in the column for the affected field is marked for the applicable FirmFlow permission groups.
  4. In GoFileRoom, choose
    Administration
    ,
    Manage Users & Groups
    , then select the Groups tab.
  5. In the Select Group field, select a group that has permissions to access the information field.
  6. Verify that your sign-in is listed in the Group Members list.
