Certificate or socket error on a Thomson Reuters site

Thomson Reuters uses Comodo to ensure you have a secure connection when you use our online products.
You may receive the following error message referring to a socket or certificate while attempting to access a Thomson Reuters site.

Unable to connect to the server. Contact your system administrator with the following error: Socket operation on non-socket (Socket Error 10038)
Error: SSL Error 61: You have not chosen to trust 'Certificate Authority'
These errors are caused by a mismatch with your web browser's security certificate.
Solution
Follow these steps to try to fix the error.
  1. Make sure Windows is up to date. If not, apply any updates and restart your computer.
  2. Install a new certificate.
    1. Go to Comodo's RSA certificate download.

    2. Select comodorsacertificationauthority.crt.
    3. Open the file you downloaded.
    4. Select
      Install Certificate
    5. Select
      Next
      in the Certificate Import Wizard, then select
      Next
      again.
    6. Select
      Finish
      to install the certificate.
After you've followed the steps to fix the error message, try to go to the page you received the error on again.
Virtual Office CS / Software as a Service (VO/SaaS)
Uninstall and reinstall Citrix if you're still receiving an error after following the steps above. This only applies if you're using Citrix Receiver and Virtual Office.
tip
Citrix Receiver has an AES Encryption that must match the certificate. Therefore if you have the 256 bit AES certificate, then make sure you're using a 256 bit AES Citrix Receiver.
