Error: General Network err (ScanFlow)

Scenario

You may see this message when you attempt to scan a document to GoFileRoom using the ScanFlow application, after installing ScanFlow on a new scan station.

Solution

Contact GoFileRoom Support, give them the ScanFlow license number for the affected scan station, and ask them to refresh the license number. After Support notifies you that the license has been refreshed, complete the following steps.
  1. Navigate to the appropriate location based on the machine's operating system:
    • 64-bit operating system:
      C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFileRoom\GFRScanFlow
    • 32-bit operating system:
      C:\Program Files\GoFileRoom\GFRScanFlow
  2. Right-click the
    License.exe
    file and select
    Run as administrator
    .
  3. Enter your ScanFlow license information, and select
    OK

Customers may use the terms "reset", "refreshed", or "released" interchangeably.
When customers call with this error, ask for the license name and database ID from the customer. Then, enter a walk-up request for the GoFileRoom Consultant to get the license refreshed.
