Scenario

You may get the following error message when you attempt to log in to GoFileRoom.
Error message
You cannot access GoFileRoom from your location (<IP address>). Please contact your GoFileRoom administrator.

You may see this message due to different reasons:

You may see this message if your firm has placed IP restrictions on the GoFileRoom database.
Have a GoFileRoom administrator in your firm verify the IP restrictions that are currently in place.

There is an outstanding GoFileRoom invoice.
A GoFileRoom contact with Admin privileges should sign in to MyAccount on cs.thomsonreuters.com to verify any invoices that may be outstanding. After the payment, you will have access to the database.

It can take up to 24-48 business hours for online payments to process.
Internal use only
If a firm has canceled their GoFileRoom agreement, they will see this message if they try to log in to their account after their access to the database has been terminated (based on their cancellation agreement).
Another situation where a firm might see this message is if they did not pay their bill or there was some kind of issue with billing and we revoked their account access. If this is the case, direct the customer to Customer Support to address the problem before we grant access to GoFileRoom again.
