Backup options
On-demand backups of your database or specific data
You can order an on-demand backup of the whole database, the whole or part of a drawer, or data in a date range. To order, contact your Account Representative.
Subscription backups
You can order an initial backup and then receive incremental backups every 6 months for payment of a subscription fee. To order, complete the GoFileRoom Backup Media Program Release Form.

Incremental backups include only newly added or edited documents. Documents that have only been re-indexed will not be included in an incremental backup.
Internal use only
- When a customer cancels GoFileRoom, USB drive backup is included in the cancellation process. Direct a customer's questions about it to their Account Representative.
- Fees vary. Forward requests for a quote to the Professional Services group: UserServices.Operations@thomsonreuters.com.
- Look in DB 004 clients drawer to find a customer's password. The checksheets and shipping labels are scanned here on shipment of each USB drive. The password is on the checksheet.
- Customers can export multiple documents from GoFileRoom, limited to 1GB per download. Review Export documents from GoFileRoom for details.
- The backup DVDs some customers have previously received are independent. There's no master search that will span all volumes. Review Internal: Combine GoFileRoom DVD backups to one central location.
- The service agreement must be signed by the licensee, who will receive the password when the backup is complete.
