The Lookup List Sync can be setup by your firm to establish a connection between your firm’s practice management system (such as Practice CS) to the application. The default utility allows syncing of the Client name and client ID between the two systems. Technical Services can assist if you would like additional information fields to be shared into the workflows used as part of FirmFlow.
The File Importer for the application allows PDF files stored in a specific folder to be uploaded and correctly indexed within the application automatically. The integration relies on these files being created electronically from your firm’s tax software with the default naming structure.
In addition to this primary functionality, Technical Services can provide modifications to allow upload of additional types of files that are compatible with the application and contain information within the file name which will allow it to be automatically indexed within the application. However, it is important to note that the File Importer doesn’t change file names or combine documents. The files are sent as created.
The following steps are the phases you will go through as part of the modifying the utility configuration.
Schedule your date for utility modification your firm has submitted the signed agreement, Technical Services will contact you to verify the scope of the project and the date that the utility modifications will be made.
Utility is configured and tested for accuracy Services will design a script to incorporate the modifications defined for the appropriate utility and test.
Utility is deployed for use by your firm typical turnaround time for these modification services is two weeks or more depending on the number of modifications.
