Scenario

You may get this error when you start a ScanFlow batch scan.
Error message
Unexpected error invoking button IMM:GFRBarcodeScanNew

Solution

  1. Make a copy of each ScanFlow scanner's profile from the following location:
    <userprofile>\AppData\Roaming\GoFileRoom\GFRScanflow
    .
  2. Select
    Windows
    then
    Control Panel
    .
  3. Select
    Programs and Features
    and uninstall GoFileRoom ScanFlow.
  4. Verify that User Account Control (UAC) is off or at the lowest setting.
  5. Restart your computer.
  6. Delete the
    GFRScanFlow
    folder in each of the following locations:
    • 32-bit operating system:
      C:\Program Files\GoFileRoom
    • 64-bit operating system:
      C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFileRoom
    • C:\Program Data\GoFileRoom
    • <userprofile>\AppData\Roaming\GoFileRoom
  7. Reinstall the latest version of ScanFlow.
  8. Use the GoFileRoom setup checklist and troubleshooting guidelines to verify your internet browser settings.
  9. Verify that the
    License.exe
    file in the following locations isn't blocked by any firewalls (Windows or other):
    • 32-bit operating system:
      C:\Program Files\GoFileRoom\GFRScanFlow
    • 64-bit operating system:
      C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFileRoom\GFRScanFlow
If you get a license error after completing these steps, contact GoFileRoom Support and ask them to refresh your ScanFlow license.
