Follow these guidelines when you set up your scanner for use with TaxSort in GoFileRoom.

Set the resolution to 300 DPI (dots per inch).

Scan only in black and white instead of color or grayscale.

Increase the contrast level of your scanned images.

Set the scan area to 8 1/2 X 11 inches.

Set any available dropout color option to None.

Consider an application like Kofax VRS if you need more help with the quality of scanned images.
