To calculate and print Form 8838-P, Federal Consent to Extend the Time To Assess Tax Pursuant to the Gain Deferral Method (section 721(c)):
  1. In

    Foreign Partnership
    .
  2. Add new Foreign Partnership
    , select
    Schedule O
    , then
    Form 8838-P
    .
  3. Populate either line 1a, line 1b, or line 5.
  4. Do a full recompute, then print.
