Form D-40P print requirements

To print form D-40P, District of Columbia SUB Payment Voucher for Individual Income Tax:

Make sure the correct residency is selected:

In the Organizer
, go to States
, then Add States/Cities
.

Make sure the selection for District of Columbia is R – Resident
or PY - Part-Year Resident
.

Make sure the form is populated:

In Tax Forms
, go to States
, District of Columbia
, then Resident/Part-year Resident
.

Select D-40P - Payment Voucher
.

Make sure there is an amount or NONE
in the Amount of payment field.

Do a full recompute, then print.

If the form isn’t printing, make sure it isn’t suppressed:

In the Organizer
, go to Payments and Extensions
, then Extensions
.

Select the State Options and Payments
tab.

Make sure the selection for District of Columbia is Option 3
, Option 4
, or Option 5
.

Do a full recompute, then print.

This form will print for a nonresident return; however, it can only be viewed in tax forms for a resident or part-year resident return.
