Form 5121 print requirements
To print Form 5121, City of Detroit Withholding Tax Schedule:
- Go to theOrganizer, and selectCities, Counties, Intangibles, Tangible,Michigan Cities, then selectAdd new City.
- Enter a city name, then go toGeneral Information.
- Select an option from theResidency Statusdropdown.
- SelectDetroitfrom theCity in which income was earneddropdown in theGeneral Informationsection.
- Go to theOrganizer, and selectCities, Counties, Intangibles, Tangible,Michigan Cities,Detroit, then selectWages.
- Make sure there is city tax withheld on the W‑2s, 1099s, or K‑1s that have been added to the return.
- Do a full recompute, then print.
If the form isn’t printing, make sure it is not suppressed:
- Go to theOrganizer, and selectCities, Counties, Intangibles, Tangible,Michigan Cities,Detroit, then selectExtension Information.
- Select theState Options and Paymentstab and select something other than1or2under theExtension Optionsection.
- Do a full recompute, then print.
