To print Form 5253, Detroit Withholding Tax:

In Organizer

Select Michigan Cities
, then go to

Select Detroit
from the City in which income was earned
dropdown.

Verify extension configuration:

Option A: In Organizer

Payments and Extensions
Extensions
State Options and Payments
Extension Tax Options

, and select any option.

Option B: In Organizer
, go to

Payments and Extensions
Extensions
State Options and Payments
Extension Tax Options

, and ensure Extension with tax return, alpha only
" is cleared.

Ensure that city tax is withheld on W-2s, 1099s, or K-1.

Confirm that the total number of W-2s and 1099s to be filed is greater than 8 and/or the number of K-1 is greater than 3.

Do a full recompute, then print.
