Form VA-8879 print requirements

To print Form VA-8879, Virginia Individual Income Tax e-File Signature Authorization.
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    Payments and Extensions
    Extensions
    .
  2. Go to the
    State Options and Payments
     tab.
  3. For
    Virginia
    , select
    3- Extension with tax return, alpha and numeric entries
    .
  4. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Virginia
    Special Nonres Claim for Tax Withheld
    . Make sure no information is entered.
  5. Go to
    Organizer
    E-File
    Enable/Create
    . Make sure
    Virginia
     is
    Enabled
    .
  6. Go to
    Organizer
    E-File
    Enable/Create
    .
  7. On the
    Return
     tab, go to the
    Signature Form Option
     column.
  8. Select
    Use PIN from federal 8879 (Default)
     from the dropdown.
  9. Do a full recompute, then print.
