Tax invoice options
Generate and customize tax invoices or return processing charges statements, including firm and client details, custom letterhead, headings, and charging method descriptions.
The Tax Invoice Options Organizer supports 2 output types:
- Tax invoice
- A statement of charges for preparing your client's tax return. The tax invoice includes the following information:
- Your firm name and address, or custom letterhead
- Your client's name and address
- A heading, if you entered one
- The amounts and descriptions of all charging methods used on the tax return
- Return processing charges statement
- A statement of tax return processing charges that you can use for in-house purposes or present to your client. The statement includes the following information:
- Client name, account number, client code, locator number, tax year, return type, and date
- The amounts and descriptions of all charging methods used on the tax return
- Go to .
- Select the option to generate an invoice for the selected return.
- If you want to print the invoice on custom letterhead, select the custom letterhead option.
- If you want to print a heading on the tax invoice, enter a heading in theHeadingfield.
- If you want to print the return processing charges statement, select the return processing charges option.
