Foreign partner data import
You can import partner information to the Schedule K-2 and K-3 in multiple ways:
- Data Connection: Imports data toPtr Distributive Share-International.
- Direct K-1: Direct K-1 to K-3 imports amounts to each Schedule K-3 Tax Forms and Workpapers. Use this if you don't want to allocate amounts from Schedule K-2 to Schedule K-3.
- Partner Import and Special Allocations Import:
- The Partner Import imports partner data intoOrganizer, thenPartner Information.
- The Special Allocations Import brings special allocations intoOrganizer,Partner Information,Allocations, thenSpecial Allocations.
- The Partner and Special Allocations imports work for both Schedules K-1 and K-3. Schedule K-3 uses the same partner’s name, address, and standard allocation ratios as Schedule K-1.
