Form 8805 print requirements
To print Form 8805, Federal Foreign Partner's Information Statement of Section 1446 Withholding Tax:
- In theOrganizer, selectPartner Information, then thePartner by Partner Datafolder.
- Select the (name), then thePartner Informationfolder.
- Go to thePartner Informationtab then thePartner Typesection.
- In theDomestic or foreignline, make sure there's at least one partner marked asForeign.
- Go to theTax Forms, then theIRC Sec 1446 Withholding Taxfolder.
- Select8805, then the (name) folder.
- Make sure there's an amount onLine 9orLine 10.
- Do a full recompute, then print the return.
To force print the return:
- In theOrganizer, select theForeign Informationfolder.
- SelectIRC sec 1446 Withholding Tax, then theIRC Sec 1446 Informationfolder.
- In theForm 8805section, mark theForce print Form 8805 for foreign partnerscheckbox.
- Do a full recompute, then print the return.
If Copy A, B, C, or D isn't printing:
- In theOrganizer, select theForeign Informationfolder.
- SelectIRC sec 1446 Withholding Tax, then theIRC Sec 1446 Informationfolder.
- In theForm 8805section, unmarkSuppress Copyfor the copy you're trying to print.
- Do a full recompute, then print the return.
