Form 740EXT print requirements

To print form 740EXT, Kentucky Application for Extension of Time to File:

Make sure the extension is enabled:

In the Organizer
, go to States
, then Common State
.

Select Estimates and Extensions
, then Estimates and Extensions
, then select the Extension
tab.

In the row for Kentucky
, make sure the
Return on Extension
checkbox in column B
is checked.

Make sure the correct partnership type is selected:

In the Organizer
, go to General Information
, then Basic Return Information
.

Select the Entity Information
tab, then navigate to the Entity Type
section.

Make sure the Partnership type
selection is Domestic general partnership
.

Do a full recompute, then print.

If the form doesn’t print, check if it’s suppressed:

In the Organizer
, go to States
, then Common State
.

Select Print Suppression
.

In the row for Kentucky
, make sure the State Forms
and Extensions
checkboxes are clear.

Do a full recompute, then print.
