Form 05-102, Public Information Report print requirements
- Verify the entity doesn’t haveSeverediagnostics for Texas:
- SelectView, thenDiagnostics. Texas mandates the state can't print any forms when severe diagnostics are present. Clear them for Texas.
- Go toOrganizerand selectStates, thenCommon State.
- SelectGeneral Information, thenBasic Return Information, and go to theReturn Informationtab.
- Make sure theColumn G, Final Returnfield is clear for Texas.
- In Organizer, selectStates, thenCommon State.
- SelectPrint Options, thenPrint Suppression.
- Go to theSuppression SC-Citiestab.
- Make sureTexasis cleared in theState Formscolumn.
- In Organizer, selectStates, thenTexas, thenGeneral Information.
- In theGeneral Informationsection, enter theTaxpayer Number.
- SelectYESforCorporation, limited liability company, professional association, limited partnership, or financial institution,
- Verify that theThis entity does not have NEXUS in Texasfield is cleared.
- Verify thatThis entity is a disregarded entityis cleared.
- In theNo Tax Due Reportsection, verify thePassive entity as defined in Chapter 171 of the Texas Tax Codefield is cleared.
- Go to thePayment of Tax During Preceding Tax Year (Mandatory)section and make a selection other thanBlank.
- SelectReturn Options, thenPrint Suppression.
- Make sureForm 05-102is cleared.
Manually entering multiple 05-102 forms
- In Organizer, selectStates, thenTexas.
- SelectInformation Report - Manual Entry, then go to thePublic Information ReportandAdd New Taxpayer Name. This lets you make manual entries for the report. A version of the report will print and e-file with the manually entered information.
- In Organizer, selectStates, thenTexas, thenReturn Options.
- Go to thePrint Suppressionsection and make sure theManual Entry Form 05-102field is cleared.
