Form VA-8879P print requirements
To print and calculate Form VA-8879P, Virginia Pass-Through Entity Return of Income and Return of Nonresident Withholding Tax e-file Signature Authorization:
- Go toOrganizer,States,Virginia.
- SelectReturn Options, inPrint Suppressionsection, make sure that theForm VA-8879Pisn't checked.
- Go toOrganizer,Federal E-file, andSignature Authorization.
- In theSignature Optionsection, chooseForm 8879 – Practitioner PIN.
- Go toOrganizer,States,Virginia,E-file,Additional Information.
- In theSignature Authorizationsection, check the 2 checkboxes forDeclaration and Signature Authorization of Authorized Representative – VA-8879P.
- Make sure that the Virginia state is active by going toOrganizer,States,State and City Activation.
- In theStates Tab, Check/MarkColumn B(State Activation) for the state of Virginia.
- Go toTax Forms,States,Virginia.
- Go toForm 502PTET,Form 502PTET Page 1.
- Make sure the first checkbox optionCheck here to certify election to pay Virginia income tax at the entity level for the taxable yearis checked.
- Do a full recompute and print.
