Form 8896 print requirements

There are 3 ways you can calculate Form 8896, Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel Production Credit.

Option 1:

In Organizer
, go to the Credits
folder.

Select 8896 - Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel
and enter the applicable information on this screen.

note

Make sure Suppress the form when the only source for a credit is from pass-through (not applicable for 1120S or COOP)
isn't selected.

Option 2:

In Organizer
, go to the Income and Deductions
folder.

Open the Pass-Through Entity
folder.

Select Pass-Through Entity
then the name of the entity.

Go to the Credits/Tax Pref
tab.

Enter an amount on line AI Low sulfur diesel fuels production credit
.

Option 3:

In Organizer
, go to the Credits
folder.

Select General Business Credit
, then General Business Credit parts III and V
.

Go to the Part III lines 1a - 1o
tab.

Enter information in the Part II line 1m - Form 8896
section.
