Form 8904 print requirements

There are 3 ways you can calculate Form 8904, Credit for Oil and Gas Production From Marginal Wells.

Option 1:

In Organizer
, go to the Credits
folder.

Select 8904 - Production from Marginal Wells
and enter the applicable information on this screen.

note

Make sure Suppress the form when the only source for a credit is from pass-through (not applicable for 1120S)
isn't selected.

Option 2:

In Organizer
, go to the Income and Deductions
folder.

Open the Pass-Through Entity
folder.

Select Pass-Through Entity
then the name of the entity.

Go to the Credits/Tax Pref
tab.

Enter an amount on line AK Credit for oil and gas production from marginal wells
.

Option 3:

In Organizer
, go to the Credits
folder.

Select General Business Credit
, then General Business Credit parts III and V
.

Go to the Part III lines 1p - 1zz
tab.

Enter information in the Part III line 1BB - Form 8904
section.
