Federal E-file Extension folder missing

This happens when you don't set the entity type correctly on the return. The Organizer only displays the Federal E-file Extension folder when you set the
Entity type
 field to
Corporate single entity
 or
Top Consolidation
.

Solution

To display the Federal E-file Extension folder:
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    General Information
    Basic Return Information
    Entity Information
     tab.
  2. In the
    Return/Entity Type
     section, set the
    Entity type
     field to
    Corporate single entity
     or
    Top Consolidation
    .
  3. Do a full recompute
