Form 1118 Schedule H print requirements

To print, calculate, or suppress Form 1118: Foreign Tax Credit - Corporations: Schedule H:
  1. In Organizer, select
    Foreign Information
    , then
    Foreign Tax Credit
    , then
    Print Options
    .
  2. In the
    Form Print Suppression
     section make sure Schedule H isn't suppressed.
  3. Select
    Schedule H Part I
    , then
    Schedule H, Part I
    .
  4. To print Schedule H Part I, go to the
    Totals
    section.
  5. On the Total line enter an amount for
    RE Deductions
    .
  6. Select Tax Forms, then
    Federal
    , then
    1118 - Foreign Tax Credit
    .
  7. Select
    Foreign Tax Credit
    , then
    Passive Category Income
    , then
    Schedule A
    .
  8. On Schedule A, line 12 or line 17 needs to have a value.
  9. Or, select
    Schedule B
     and in Part II line 1a make sure the field has a value.
  10. If you want Schedule H Part II to print, select
    Schedule H
    , then
    Schedule H, Part II
    .
  11. At least one basket must have calculations in Part II column F.
  12. For Schedule H Part III to print, select
    Schedule H, Part III
    . You need to have an apportionment amount on Part III line 1.
