State combined/consolidated return - step 3

Activate inactive states

  1. On the State Consolidation Steps screen, select
    Activate the inactive state
      link. The Activate states in all companies in the consolidated group screen is displayed

  2. Select
    Show list
     and then the companies with inactive states to combine are displayed in the grid. Select
    Activate States
    .
  3. If you are using Allocation and Apportionment, select the
    Activate A & A
     button to activate A&A for all companies, including parent, elimination, and subsidiary companies. Select the check box to select the states to combine in Step 1.
  4. Select the
    Push to activate now
     button and a dialog box appears to give you one final opportunity to Cancel. Select
    OK
     to continue.
