1120 State elimination entries for combined returns
Consolidations in the application require an elimination company. Some states view this as a non-entity and don't include it in the consolidated total.
Some states don't let you use an elimination company in the consolidated total. For example, elimination entries for the following items are not valid:
- California - Allocation and Apportionment data
- Ohio - Inter-company sales
- Oklahoma - All
- South Carolina - All
You can create a dummy subsidiary to include elimination amounts.
note
Most state folders in the
Organizer
have a Combined Help
screen that shows how to enter data at each level.
