Form CPT print requirements
To print, calculate, or suppress Form CPT, Alabama Business Privilege Tax Return and Annual Report for Corporations and Limited Liability Entities (initial return for corporations):
- Go toOrganizer,States,Alabamafolder.
- SelectReturn Options, then go toPrint Suppressionsection, the Business Privilege Tax return - CPT, PPT, BPT-In must be unselected.
- Go toPrivilege Taxfolder.
- SelectTax Computation, then go toInitial Return Calculation Information (BPT-IN)section.
- LineInitial Business Privilege Tax Returnmust be unselected.
- SelectCPT - Privilege Tax Return, go toPage 2 Part B, Line 20 must be greater then $100, or a refund must be requested on Page 1 Line 12.
- If the Entity is a Top consolidation Financial return, go toOrganizer,States,Alabama,Privilege Taxfolder.
- SelectFinancial Institution Information, then go toFinancial Institution Group Informationsection.
- Choose the lines and check the field if electing to file a consolidated Business Privilege Tax return and/or if a member of a Financial Institution Group filing separately.
- Do a full recompute and refresh the print.
