To calculate and print Massachusetts Schedule M-1, Federal Reconciliation:

In Tax Forms
, select States
, then Massachusetts
.

Select Selected Options
then the Filing Type
tab.

Make sure lines Financial Institution
, Security corporation
, and Top consolidation
aren't marked.

In the Organizer
, select States
, then Massachusetts
.

Select Combined Return Information
, then go to the Combined Report Options
section.

Confirm the following:

Make sure the line Filing combined Forms 355U (required for every member of the combined group)
isn't marked.

Make sure the line Member has a different tax year than the combined group
is marked.

Do a full recompute, then print the return.
