Combined Form AFF print requirements

Form AFF, Affiliations for Combined Returns, prints when you add a member's Minnesota ID number, indicate that the member has nexus in Minnesota, or set up the return for combined filing with the member included on the schedule.
To print Form AFF, Affiliations for Combined Returns, for a member:
  1. In the member, go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    General Information
    State/City ID Numbers
    . Enter the Minnesota ID number.
  2. In the member, go to
    Tax Forms
    States
    Minnesota
    Selected Options
    Combined Options
     tab. Enter an
    X
     for
    X if this locator has nexus in Minnesota and needs to be on Schedule AFF
    .
  3. In the
    Organizer
    , select
    States
    then
    State and City Activation/Consolidation
    .
  4. In Column C, select
    Combine
     on the Minnesota row.
  5. In the
    Organizer
    , select
    States
    then
    Minnesota
    .
  6. Select
    Combined Return information
    .
  7. On the member return, make sure the
    If you do not want this locator to be on Schedule AFF on a combined return please check this box
     cleared.
  8. Do a full recompute, then print the return.
If the form doesn't print, check if it's suppressed:
  1. Go to
    Common State
    Print Options
    Print Suppression
    Suppression MD-RI
     tab.
  2. In the State Forms column, make sure the
    Minnesota
     checkbox cleared.
  3. Do a full recompute, then print the return.
