Multi-factor authentication set up (MFA)
- SelectAdmin, thenFirm Config.
- SelectSecurity Options.
- In the Multi-factor Authentication section, selectEnable multi-factor authentication, then either:
- User required- If MFA is required, you will get a message asking you to set up MFA at your next login. After you've set it up you will need to use your mobile device with the Thomson Reuters Authentication application to log in to the RS system.
- User optional- if MFA is optional, you can opt in to using the Thomson Reuters application to add a layer of security for your login but it's not required.
- Generating a temporary login code
- SelectAdmin, thenAccess Control.
- Select the User who needs the code.
- SelectUser.
- At the bottom of the screen, selectGenerate 24-Hour OTP for this User.
- Generating the code disables any codes previously located for that user’s account. A dialog appears with the temporary code.
- Send the code to the user.
- SelectClose.
