This article applies to:

Make changes to an API application

Select the application name you want to modify on the

Applications

screen.

Select Edit
at the bottom of Application Details
screen.

Make your changes to the application by following the instructions on the screen for:

Application authentication

Certificate options

X.509 certification

Products

Disabling an application

Regenerating a consumer key and consumer secret

Select Switch
or Confirm
to change those specific options, or select Cancel
to go back to the screen.

note

If you Enable
or Disable
an application, add comments about why you changed the application.

You can only generate tokens for Enabled
applications.

If you regenerate a Consumer Key
or Consumer Secret
, a new pair of keys is created and the existing tokens and credentials become invalid.

Select Next
when you're done.

On the Group Setup
screen, mark the checkboxes next to the Group Name
, then Add
or Remove
for the current application type.

Select Next
.

On the Permission Setup
screen, choose the product and set permissions that the user has access to.

Select Done
at the bottom of the screen to save your changes, or select Previous
to go back to the last step.
