F1040-065-04 e-file error
Form 1040: To electronically file this return, you must have at least one of the following fields populated: Total Income, AGI, AGI Repeated, Tax, Total Credits, Total Tax, or Total Payments.
This happens when the IRS expects at least $1 on one of the lines in the e-file error message.
Solution
- Make sure the fields listed in the e-file error message are correct.
- If you fix a mistake, recompute, recreate, and retransmit the return.
- If the lines are blank and correct, you need to paper-file the return.
