FIN-035 e-file error
You get this error when you're trying to request a future payment date beyond the original due date.
Error message
You cannot request a future payment date for returns submitted after the original due date. The Payment Date must be blank or the same as the return submitted date. Exception - If the original due date is between April 1, 2023 and June 1, 2023, you may request a future payment date up to June 1, 2023. (FIN-035)
Solution
- Go toStatesin theOrganizer.
- SelectCommon State, thenBank Information.
- Change theDate Amount to be Debitedto the date you're filing the return.
- Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
