Severe Diagnostic: Beginning profit ratios do not foot

Beginning profit ratios do not foot to 1.0: Check beginning profit ratios entered in Organizer.
Make sure the beginning ratios add to 1.0. Zeros and NONE will also trigger this error.

Solution

note
This is a severe diagnostic, it will not stop you from e-filing. Even if this is a first year filer beginning ratios are expected because the program is looking for the ratios at the beginning of the year.
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    Partner Information
    Partner by Partner Data
    Columnar Partner Entry
    .
  2. Go to the
    Ratios\Units
     tab.
  3. Make sure the beginning ratios for the partners add up to 1.0.
