Error: The field ‘PartnershipEIN’ with value ‘[EIN]’, data format is not correct
You get this error when the partnership EIN in a K-1 aggregation file contains a hyphen or other characters instead of 9 consecutive digits.

Solution
- Go to .
- Remove the attached aggregation file.
- Open the XML aggregation file.
- Locate the PartnershipEIN element and remove the hyphen and any other special characters.
- Keep only the 9 digits (for example, change 'XX-XXXXXXX' to 'XXXXXXXXX').
- Reattach the corrected aggregation file.
- Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
