Error: The field ‘RecourseAmt’ with value data is missing

You get this error when the Recourse amount is blank on Schedule K-1, Part II, Item K.

Solution

  1. If the recourse liabilities were specially allocated, go to
    Organizer
    Partner Information
    Allocations
    Special Allocations
     and remove NONE from the allocation code.
  2. If not specially allocated, remove
    NONE
     from Item K on Schedule K-1 using the space bar.
