You get this error when an invalid state abbreviation is entered for a partner on Schedule K-1.

Solution
- Go to , then select theName and Addresstab.
- Verify that each partner has a valid state abbreviation. The form line identifies the affected partner; for example,IRS1065ScheduleK1[2]identifies the 2nd partner.
- For foreign partners, select any state, recompute, selectNone Selected, then recompute again.
- If using Direct K-1 import, go to and correct the state code as needed.
