PTE-100-134 e-file error

This error occurs when the total ownership percentage for all partners on Schedule SP doesn't fall within the required range of 0.95 to 1.05.

Error message

PTE-100-134: Total ownership percentage on the Schedule SP must be between 0.95 and 1.05

Solution

  1. Review all partners' Percentage of Ownership entries.
  2. Go to
    Organizer
    Partner information
    Partner by partner data
    Columnar partner entry
    Ratios / Units
    . Ensure the sum of all partner ownership percentages equals exactly 1.0 (or falls within the range 0.95 to 1.05).
  3. Verify that no partner has NONE or 0% as their ownership percentage. If this information is missing or incorrect, update the ownership percentages accordingly.
  4. Alternatively, if using state-only purposes, update the Schedule SP data via the K-1 aggregation file located at
    Organizer
    States
    WV
    E-file
    Attachments
    K-1 Aggregation
    Summary
    .
  5. Make the necessary changes to the K-1 aggregation file, reattach it, and recreate the e-file return.
  6. If filing with 0% ownership for all partners is intentional, this return must be filed on paper because West Virginia won't accept an electronic return with 0% ownership.
