Error: XML electronic filing is incomplete due to errors. Validation is not processed.

When creating a 1065 Federal e-file, you may receive a message that validation isn't processed. This prevents the e-file from completing and hides diagnostic errors.

Solution

Turn on bypass validation to show the underlying errors:
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    Federal E-file
    Create E-file
    .
  2. Mark the
    bypass Validation GoTo
     checkbox.
  3. Perform a full recompute.
  4. Select
    Create
    .

The diagnostic or validation errors now generate. Review and resolve each error, then recreate the e-file.
