Error: General Partner's phone number, and date signed must be present

This happens when the signature information is missing.

Error message

AL E-File - Form PPT: According to AL e-file specifications, General Partner's phone number, and date signed must be present. Go to: Organizer > States > Common State > General Information > Basic Return Information > Signature Information tab

Solution

  1. Select
    Organizer
    ,
    States
    , then the
    Common State
     folder.
  2. Under
    General Information
    , select with
    Basic Return Information
    .
  3. Go to the
    Signature Information
     tab, then Columns I and K for Alabama.
  4. Enter the
    SSN
     and
    Signature date
     under AL and AL PPT.
  5. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
