SC-AL65-075 e-file error


AL E-File: AL Reject Code SC-AL65-075: 1If Form 65 Page 1 filing status 2 "Multistate Company Apportionment" is checked, then the Alabama Apportionment Factor must equal Line 8a divided by Line 8b and cannot be NONE.
This happens when NONE is entered on AL Form 65, Page 3.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Tax Forms
    , then
    States
    .
  2. Select
    Alabama
    , then
    65
    , then
    65, Page 3
    .
  3. In
    Schedule C
    , remove any
    NONE
     in Line 8 for both Alabama and Everywhere columns.
    1. Go to
      Organizer
      States
      Allocation and Apportionment
      .
    2. Select
      Data Entry
      , then
      Sales Factor
      .
    3. Select
      Receipts from Sales
      .
    4. For the
      Alabama
       row, remove any
      NONE
      s.
  4. Recompute and re-create the e-file.
