2049 e-file error
If Form 1065 Page 1, line F, the "SALES FACTOR ONLY" box is checked, you must complete 1065 Page 3, Section C3 (Sales Factor) lines a through f.
This happens when the sales factor is indicated, but no sales factor apportionment information's included in the state e-file.
Solution
- Go toOrganizer,States,Arizona, and thenAllocation and Apportionment.
- Review the option selected in theMulti-State Apportionment section.
- If sales factor shouldn't be selected, correct it, then perform a full re-compute, and re-create the e-file.
- If sales factor should be selected, Form 165 Page 3 section C3 must be completed. Move on to step 3.
- To enter allocation and apportionment information, go toOrganizer,States,Allocation and Apportionment, and thenInstructions.
- Once sales information is carried to Form 165, Page 3, Section C3, perform a full re-compute, and re-create the e-file.
